"Find Me"

Ashley refers to mental illness as a 'loss of perspective' - the loss of the ability to see oneself and reality in a balanced, accurate and meaningful way.  "Find Me" describes this experience with the lyric "I get lost; I can't remember who I am".  The song also speaks of loneliness and a desire for guidance with the lyric "bring me home".  

"My Cloud"

Following Ashley's failed suicide attempt in 2010, she retreated into herself and spent the next few years isolated and abusing cocaine.  "My Cloud" describes her defiance at participating in a world that at the time she perceived to be hostile and cruel.  The lyric "I won't come down" refers to her desire to remain 'high' and numb to the pain of her own mental and emotional distress.

"Angels Fall"

"Angels Fall" is a song about redemption.  It deals with themes of disappointment, compassion, and forgiveness.  Written after a period of psychiatric hospitalization, this song marks a turning point during which Ashley began to recognize the value of human connection and support.
